MOVE Team 2024

MOVE Team 2024’s will commence on Friday 16th August, 16 days of life changing experiences concluding on the 1st September. 

PKF Adelaide, a long time supporter of MOVE is leading the charge in 2024, the first information session was held at PKF on the 6APR, Dom Cosentino a PKF Partner, committed to MT24 and generously offered one weeks paid leave to PKF employees joining him, this will be Dom’s second trip on the back of MT19.

A number of new opportunities are evolving for MT24 which is exciting, water security, Women’s’ empowerment programs, Lewanika Hospital support, Village of Hope school engagements, IT teaching & support, plus football coaching with the Barotse Jets.

Accountancy Team and Technology Team

In the Village of Hope school, teaching basic accountancy and maths to run small business, empowering children's lives through information technology.

Water Team / Engineering Team

MT24 will be sinking 3 Water Wells in a similar area to where MT15 sank their well, in 2015. The well now supplies daily water to over 1000 people and is a key meeting place.

Civil Works and Infrastructure Team

Lewanika Hospital, landscaping, general maintenance, painting, and day ward improvements.
Training Courses : safety, compliance, finance and accountancy

Family and Child Protection Team

The Grace Centre, Dani’s and Lubashi Home provide vital support to vulnerable women and young girls in the Livingstone area. MT24 will work on the home farm, plant sustainable crops, engage and support these centres.
