MOVE provides community capacity resources to the people of Zambia's Western Province, developing short and long term humanitarian projects that require a level of skill and expertise that we in Australia see as common place and would normally be used to increase our quality of life, not provide life support.
Get involved
We join everyday people with extraordinary projects using their skills to bridge the gap in Zambia. Whether you are a laborer or nurse, engineer or childcare worker your everyday skills make a huge difference in the third world.
Past Projects
In 2013, MOVE installed phase 1 of the water supply system to the Village of Hope orphan school, which will provide water to the school’s kitchen that currently feeds over 250 children per day and provides water to the school’s new toilets and showers.
We also repaired roads, medically assessed 255 children and reviewed child protection policies.
About Move
Water gives life, in Zambia nearly two people in three people lack access to clean water and half the population has nowhere to go to the toilet. Over 5,000 children die every year from diarrhoea and malnutrition.
We believe in equipping people with the skills, resources and knowledge so they can overcome the causes of their exclusion and suffering.
